Admission Criteria
Age: Adolescents or Adults
Sex: Male or Female Format: Individual or group sessions, available in-person or virtually (via Zoom). Assessment: An initial assessment is conducted to ensure the client is suitable for educational anger management classes and to identify any underlying issues contributing to anger.
Program Structure
- Individual Sessions
- Tailored one-on-one time with the specialist to develop personalized lesson plans. Individual sessions are encouraged in combination with group sessions for enhanced benefit.
- Group Sessions
- Peer support and shared learning through discussions, role-playing, worksheets, mental health check-ins, journaling, music and art facilitation, and brainstorming activities.

The program covers:
- Identifying Triggers: Recognizing the root causes of anger
- Handling Situations Effectively: Practical strategies for de-escalation
- Empathy & Active Listening: Building better communication skills
- Mindfulness & Stress Management: Managing emotions in real-time
- Cognitive Restructuring: Changing negative thought patterns
- Self-Care: Understanding the impact of self-care on anger
- Preventive Measures: Strategies to avoid anger escalation
Program Details
- Duration: 8–16 weeks (minimum one session per week)
- Completion: Successful completion results in a certificate stating “Successful Completion of Anger Management,” dated accordingly. Unsuccessful completion will result in no certificate, and the specialist will reach out to discuss next steps.
