Michele was born and raised in the Muncy/Hughesville area. She has her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Bloomsburg University. She maintains the CCJP and the ICCJP credentials. Michele has worked with PATH’s chemical dependency and addiction programs for over 23 years and provides oversight to the agency’s D&A Program and its 8 licensed locations.
With 20 years at the Agency, Steve manages the operations at the Bloomsburg, Lehighton, and East Stroudsburg treatment centers. He is also responsible for agency-wide training programs.
Lisa has over 25 years of experience working with at-risk youth. She has been with PATH for over 19 years, originally as a caseworker and now as the director of the organization’s ASE programs and as the program manager for the East Stroudsburg location.
Jim was born and raised in Philly for 35 years before moving to Central PA. He was a non-traditional student beginning college at 38 and graduating from Bloomsburg University in 2010 at the age of 42 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. He worked at Northwestern Academy assisting youth in a juvenile justice setting for 5 years, worked for SafetyNet counseling as a TSS for 6 years before coming to PATH as an Alternative Education Teacher in 2013. He has advanced while at PATH to Operations Manager, D&A Counselor and into his current position as Facility Director of the Central PA region for D&A programs.
Whitney has over 12 years of experience in mental/behavioral health services. She is a published author of a children’s book that focuses on social issues with children. She received her bachelor’s of science in elementary education and master’s of alternative education from Lock Haven University. She resides in Lock Haven with husband, Jeremy.
Brian has been working in the finance/accounting field in central Pennsylvania since the late 90’s. He majored in economics and graduated with honors from Haverford College in 1997. Brian started at PATH in February 2012 and became Treasurer of the organization later that year. Brian is responsible for payroll, tax reporting, presenting financial results to the Board, and supervises accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Amy Freeman is Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience working in the human service field. Over the past 10 years, she has specialized in program development and the clinical treatment of traumatic stress. She is designated a Diplomat by the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress. Amy will serve as the Program Clinical Director.
Tonia has been with PATH since 2012, serving initially in the accounting department and now overseeing the business management of the agency. Before joining PATH she worked a wide variety of roles for a bank processing facility over the course of 22 years. She grew up in the Mifflinburg area and continues to live there today.
Theresa earned her B.A. in Literary Studies and her M.Ed. in Education from Fairleigh Dickinson University and an additional M.Ed. in Administration/Supervision from the University of Phoenix, the latter while teaching 5th grade in East Orange, New Jersey. She then served as an administrator at a charter school in Plainfield, New Jersey for over six years and then as an administrator for a private school in Warren County. After all of this leadership experience, Theresa had a desire to return to the classroom. Thankfully, after spending some time teaching in Jersey City, she has decided to put her combined expertise in educational administration and teaching to work with PATH.
